Community Based Interventions (CBI) is a private nonprofit corporation bringing over 10 years experience providing human services in community settings across a wide range of problems and client populations.  CBI staff has extensive experience in implementing interventions in multiple settings including: behavioral management, residential services, substance abuse services, rehabilitation, vocational services, and organizational development.  CBI serves over 50 children and adults with disabilities and their families every year.

Interventions designed to enhance personal functioning and community progress are best implemented in settings most closely resembling a natural learning environment.  Systematic training to improve skills promotes the dignity of independence.  At CBI services are interdisciplinary, utilizing existing community resources as much as possible.  Services are comprehensive and may be life long.

As a private nonprofit using the best management and business practices available, CBI is able to respond quickly to changing conditions and promote innovation as an ongoing objective of the agency.


 
To develop, provide and coordinate training services to persons with disabilities directed at improving independence level, arranging community support resources, and assisting in management of daily activities; and to educate consumers regarding their rights and educate the community regarding the special needs of persons with disabilities.
